FAQ

What is NCASCA?

NCASCA is the North Carolina Ambulatory Surgical Center Association.  NCASCA was founded by ASCs in the state to provide advocacy for ambulatory surgical centers in the state of North Carolina.

The healthcare landscape is quickly changing. There are many ways the North Carolina General Assembly and state regulatory bodies can impact how an ambulatory surgical center is ran.

NCASCA members firmly believe being able to advance ASCs and address legislative and regulatory issues directly as an organization is key to the overall success of the industry.

Who Can Join NCASCA?

Membership is open to any licensed ambulatory surgery facility in the state of North Carolina.

Physician practice offices having a majority of physician surgeons who utilize ASCs or ASC management companies are also able to join NCASCA.

Vendors or companies that are not described above can join as Vendor Members.

How Much are NCASCA Dues?

NCASCA membership dues are $5,000. NCASCA understands that this is a significant investment.

Our focus is on advocacy, including the regulatory and legislative protection of licensure for ASCs.

To be able to address these challenges and others in the future, the dues have been set so that the organization has the resources from the onset to get right to work.
